Meditation has been shown to assist in stress reduction, weight management and energy balancing. But you don't have to live in a cave or become a monk to have time to meditate. In this class you will learn how to develop a daily mindfulness meditation routine that you can practice in spite of life's hectic schedule. Learn and practice meditation techniques that can easily be applied in everyday life. You will also learn about the human energy system and the seven major energy centers or chakras.
Guided meditations assist students in relaxing and reenergizing. Classes focus on identifying, clearing and balancing the personal energy system as a whole as well as the body’s seven major chakras. This class will provide valuable tools that can be used the rest of your life to bring you peace and balance in any situation.

Introduction to Reiki Therapy

Reiki is one form of energy medicine that is easy to learn, use and benefits all ages and conditions. This 2-hour workshop focuses on:

Reiki I Attunement Class

At this first-level Reiki training we will permanently attune you to the first level Reiki energy. This class is perfect for those wanting to regain balance; reduce stress; ease mental, emotional and physical pain; and for caregivers and anyone in the medical, psychological or physical therapy professions.
You will learn:
▪ The History of Reiki
▪ What Reiki is - and is not
▪ How to use Reiki for yourself and others
First Degree attunements focus on raising the vibration of the physical body so that it can accept and channel this higher frequency life force energy. The channel is sealed open so that you can maintain the ability to access the Reiki energy at this level for the rest of your life.
Class size is limited to 10 students. A $25 deposit holds your seat in this class.

Reiki II Attunement Class

Prerequisite: Reiki I
Second Degree attunements provide a quantum leap in the ability to access the Reiki energies. A technique for sending healing to others at a distance is taught at this level. Second Degree Reiki emphasis is on adjusting the emotional energy body. You will learn:
- Techniques to focus Reiki energy
- Distance healing technique
- How to use second-level Reiki on yourself and others
- Business development for those interested in creating a healing practice
As with the First Degree attunements, the channel is sealed open so that you can maintain the ability to access the Reiki energy at this level for the rest of your life.

Reiki Master Classes

Master Practitioner $300 (1-day class) or Master Teacher $750 (2-day class)

Reiki Master is the highest level of Reiki training. The Reiki Master Practitioner class is designed for those who wish to practice Reiki and Reiki Master Teacher is for those who wish to practice and teach Reiki. The Reiki Master attunement amplifies the student’s ability to access and channel the Reiki energy at the highest level as a practitioner. Reiki Master Teacher training includes Reiki Master Practitioner training and provides instruction on how to administer first, second and third degree Reiki attunements and associated training techniques to empower others with the ability to channel Reiki healing.
What you will learn:
- Breathing technique to amplify the flow of Reiki energy
- Symbols to further focus the Reiki energy
- Healing tips and techniques for one-on-one and group sessions
- How to administer Reiki I, Reiki II and Reiki Master Attunements (Master Teacher)
- Training techniques and tools for teaching Reiki classes (Master Teacher)
As with the First and Second Degree attunements, the channel is sealed open so that you can maintain the ability to access the Reiki energy at this level for the rest of your life.

Wednesdays - Ongoing - 10:00 am to 12:00 noon (except Jan 18, 2012)

Meditate in a quiet, peaceful environment. Build your understanding of the invisible energies around you and your confidence interacting with them. Disucss energy medicine and other spiritual issues. This Forum provides an opportunity for participants to
- Enhance your meditation experience;
- Foster spiritual development;
- Reduce stress and cultivate peace of mind;
- Explore unseen energies and their impact physically, mentally and emotionally;
- Develop strategies for working with the energies around you;
- Become familiar with your personal strengths and develop those areas.
This on-going forum will incorporate guided meditation, information and lots of time for questions and answers. No prerequisites. No experience needed.
